In terms of news, on April 24, according to Hesai Group's official WeChat account, the company announced that Carl Power’s transport robot, KargoBot Space 2.0 mass production version, will exclusively adopt Hesai’s 4320-line 6D full-color LiDAR ETX + second-generation pure solid-state blind-spot LiDAR FTX solution. Notably, this marks the first time Hesai's 6D full-color LiDAR has been applied to mass-produced commercial vehicles. The 'Picasso SPAD-SoC' is the first chip from Hesai’s 'Picasso' platform and also the world’s first ultra-sensitive chip for 6D full-color LiDAR, with photon detection efficiency (PDE) exceeding 40%, reaching an internationally leading level.
According to reports, at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, Carl Power officially unveiled its core strategy for the next decade of L4 freight — the KargoBot Inside strategy. This is the world’s first comprehensive ‘AI + Robot + Service’ stack empowerment strategy targeting trunk freight, marking the formal transition of L4 autonomous driving freight from technical validation into full-scale implementation. It is expected to drive L4 freight into the ‘ten-thousand unit era’ within the next three years.
