The world's most valuable AI chip leader $NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$ CEO Jensen Huang altered his schedule to join US President Trump on a visit to China. According to Bloomberg, Huang, as a last-minute addition, boarded the US presidential aircraft 'Air Force One' on May 13 to begin the trip to China. New York Post reporter Goodin posted a photo on social media, stating that when 'Air Force One' stopped to refuel in Alaska, he witnessed Huang boarding the plane to accompany Trump on the visit to China.
Subsequently, NVIDIA officially confirmed this news. In a statement, NVIDIA stated, 'Jensen accepted an invitation from President Trump to attend this summit in support of the goals of the United States and the current administration.'
Following the announcement, NVIDIA's stock price surged briefly during after-hours trading on the U.S. stock market, currently rising by 1%.
