Reports indicate that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Taiwan early on May 23 and is expected to stay for over 10 days, with an itinerary including meetings with $Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM.US)$ Morris Chang, founder of Taiwan Semiconductor; C. C. Wei, CEO of Taiwan Semiconductor; and Barry Lam, Chairman of Quanta Computer.
On June 1, Jensen Huang will attend COMPUTEX Taipei and deliver a keynote speech unveiling breakthrough technological advancements powering next-generation AI.
On June 2, Jensen Huang will join as a special guest$Marvell Technology (MRVL.US)$in the keynote address by Matt Murphy, Chairman and CEO of Marvell Technology.
According to reports,$Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US)$ CEO Lisa Su, $Intel (INTC.US)$and CEO Lip-Bu Tan will also attend COMPUTEX Taipei. The密集 appearances of the CEOs of the three major AI chip giants in Taiwan are interpreted by the industry as a critical strategic move to secure AI infrastructure capacity for the next three to five years.

Historic IPO! SpaceX plans to list on Nasdaq on June 12
SpaceX, the global commercial spaceflight leader under Elon Musk, has announced a major development: according to its prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on May 20, SpaceX intends to list on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "SPCX." Reports indicate that SpaceX aims to raise USD 75–80 billion, valuing the company at approximately USD 1.75 trillion.
The substantial capital raised in this round will be strategically allocated to two key initiatives: first, accelerating large-scale, routine launches of the next-generation Starship program; and second, heavily investing in the construction and deployment of a low-Earth orbit 'space data center' network.

Kevin Warsh's first FOMC meeting as Chair of the Federal Reserve
On May 22 local time, Kevin Warsh was sworn in as the new Chair of the Federal Reserve in Washington. At 02:00 Beijing time on June 18 (14:00 EDT on June 17), the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will announce its interest rate decision and release the Summary of Economic Projections; followed at 02:30 Beijing time by the new Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s first post-swearing-in press conference.
In his swearing-in remarks, Warsh stated that he would lead a “reform-oriented” Federal Reserve and emphasized that the Fed must fulfill its dual mandate of controlling inflation and achieving maximum employment with “independence, clear judgment, and firm resolve.” Market analysts believe that Warsh will face persistent inflationary pressures in the U.S. economy, making another near-term rate cut by the Fed increasingly unlikely.
Apple hosts its Worldwide Developers Conference 2026
From June 9 to 13, Beijing time, $Apple (AAPL.US)$ Apple will host its Worldwide Developers Conference 2026 (WWDC 2026) in a hybrid format combining online and in-person participation. This year’s conference explicitly centers on “major advances in artificial intelligence” as its core theme, with a focus on system updates and progress on Apple Intelligence. Notably, this WWDC marks Tim Cook’s final appearance as Apple CEO and will be his last time introducing a new generation of the company’s operating system in that capacity.
