Zhitong Finance APP learned that Lenovo Group (00992) has reached an all-time high in its stock price. As of press time, the stock was up more than 6%, trading at HK$36.54.
On the news front, on September 16, at the "AI Investment Summit," in response to questions about Lenovo Group's long-term valuation, Lenovo Group Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Zheng Xiaoming stated bluntly that the current market has yet to fully reflect the company's revenue, profitability, and growth prospects. Using Dell Technologies as a benchmark, he noted, "Our valuation is roughly one-seventh of Dell's, yet our revenue and net profit are not seven times apart. In this regard, we are being thoroughly undervalued by the market."
Zheng Xiaoming also noted that Lenovo's current growth opportunities are underpinned by genuine orders and customer demand, while the company itself still has room to further optimize its operations—particularly in areas such as customer acquisition and pricing. Moreover, as businesses like storage and services continue to expand, Lenovo retains significant potential for both revenue growth and margin improvement. He emphasized that, over the long term, Lenovo's net profit margin could reach 5%–8%, aligning with Dell's profitability levels.
